Begonia tuber for Radix-Glass Large
For early summer we offer the Begonia Bertini for the Radix Glass Large in two colors. The trailing begonia decorates its fast‑growing stems with delicate white or red flowers.
Begonia Bertini prefers a bright location. However, avoid placing the Radix Glass directly on a windowsill on very sunny summer days, as the water can heat up significantly. Algae also occur more frequently in warm weather. Therefore occasionally change the water and clean the container, this reduces algae and restores dissolved oxygen to the plant, which declines faster in warm, stagnant water.
The tubers of Begonia Bertini, with an average diameter of 7–9 cm, are the perfect size for use in the Radix Glass Large.

Please note that the begonia tuber is a perishable plant. After receipt, the tuber should be removed from its packaging and ideally planted immediately. If this is not possible, store the tuber cool and dark at around 10 °C. Longer storage is not recommended, as it reduces germination viability.
We take care to ship only healthy, viable tubers. We recommend indicating your preferred delivery date on the order form, especially if the tuber is a gift.
