With the Radix-Glass you can grow flower bulbs and vegetable tubers in water while observing both the plant\u2019s development and the formation of its root system. A narrowing in the neck of the vase creates a small platform on which the bulb or tuber rests, suspended above the water without direct contact.<\/p>\n

The Radix-Glass Medium is particularly well suited for growing various vegetable tubers that are often difficult to fit into the Radix-Glass Small, such as sweet potato, taro, different types of radish and, of course, beetroot with its colourful roots.<\/p>\n

In addition to autumn vegetables, the following summer-flowering plants also work very well in the Radix-Glass Medium: begonia, jacob\u2019s lily and fireball lily.<\/p>\n

An interesting experiment is placing a pineapple crown in the glass, which will begin to form new roots after a short time.<\/p>\n
