Collection, processing, and use of personal data

You may visit our site without providing any personal information. Personal details are only collected if voluntarily given when ordering products or registering for our newsletter. We use this information without your separate consent exclusively for the purpose of creating a customer account, for the receipt and processing of orders and inquiries, and to send a newsletter, if requested.

Newsletter

We send our newsletter using MailChimp, a platform provided by the US-based company Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. MailChimp operates its server in the USA. The company is certified by the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework. Online shop

For our website we use the service WooCommerce, which is developed by Bubblestorm
Management (Pty) Ltd (WooCommerce.com), Unit A206, The Old Biscuit Mill (TOBM), 373 – 375 Albert Road, Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa (hereafter “WooCommerce”). WooCommerce provides us their Online-E-Commerce platform, which we use to offer our products for sale. Data on your existence and usage are saved on WooCommerce servers. More information can be found in WooCommerce’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Use of cookies

We create a device ID so that the device you use to access the website (e.g. PC, tablet or laptop) can be recognized if you visit our website again. In addition, we also create a cookie. The cookie contains the device ID, but no personal information, usage, or transaction data. This allows your device to be recognized and linked to your device ID without your being recognized by name.

Transfer of personal data

To process payments, we forward your payment details to the relevant credit institution.
